Paper Architecture

Paper Architecture looks at reflecting and translating the qualities in a piece of architecture to print. Ivanhoe Grammar School (McBride Charles Ryan) features a strong use of colour to contrast with the plain black exterior. In doing so, McBride Charles Ryan were able to highlight the contrast between the inner world of a school — that being creative, expressive and dynamic with that of the outer world — being singular and civic. This idea was reflected in the publication through the use of coloured stocks. The publication also included an article about the importance of architecture and design in schools.
